Did you know that the average age of a homeless person is 9 years old?
At Haven Design Works, we are honored to partner with HomeAid Atlanta to provide the furniture for one of the new apartment units at Rainbow Village in North Metro Atlanta, a transitional housing community for homeless families. The ribbon-cutting of the 6-unit home will take place on June 5.
Rainbow Village’s goal is to break the cycles of homelessness, poverty and domestic
violence. The non-profit organization teaches adults and children to believe in themselves again and chart a new course toward a lifetime of self-sufficiency. Most of the families who live at Rainbow Village are headed by women who have fled lives full of domestic abuse and poverty.
